Sree Maa Kamalatmika Devi Temple: A Sacred Space in Pleasanton

Goddess Kamalatmika

Goddess Kamalatmika

As the tenth Mahavidya, Sree Maa Kamalatmika Devi is a divine aspect of Adiparashakti in the form of Lakshmi. She holds immense spiritual significance, granting her devotees energy, knowledge, health, wealth, and prosperity. Revered as the earthly goddess, she is connected to the planet Venus and delights in white hibiscus, lilies, and lotuses. She embodies the power of all 10 Mahavidyas/Goddesses.

Our Journey: Building a Home for the Divine

Phase 1: Bringing Sree Maa Kamalatmika Devi to Pleasanton, California.

In 2022, after a dedicated search, Maa Kamalatmika Devi guided us to this sacred space. We secured our permits in October 2023 and worked tirelessly on temple improvements, receiving the occupancy permit on January 17, 2025. Her divine presence was established during Navaratri from October 4th to 6th, 2024, with pratishtha ceremonies. On January 20, 2025, we joyfully opened the temple doors to our community.

Phase 2: Daily Worship and First Celebrations.

Since opening, our temple has been fully operational, with a qualified priest conducting daily rituals. We celebrated our first Narmada Linga Maha Sivaratri on February 25, 2025—a truly blessed occasion with holy water from Maha Kumbh Mela Triveni Sangam.

Phase 3: Expanding Our Divine Family.

On July 9th and 10th, 2025, we performed Maha Kumbhabhishekam with pratishtha ceremonies for Sree Lakshmi Ganapathi and Sree Valli, Devasena Subramanya Swamy. We look forward to welcoming Sree Venkateswara (Balaji) and Sree Kalabhairavar in the near future.
